Come celebrate at the Oberlin Heritage Center’s Annual Meeting! This evening of fun and fellowship will be in the second floor ballroom of the Hotel at Oberlin and will begin with an optional social hour and cash bar starting at 5:00 p.m., dinner at 6:00 p.m., and then a brief business meeting, keynote program, and Community Awards recognition.
The keynote program “Shipwrecks of Lake Erie” will be presented by Christopher Gillcrist, Director Emeritus of the National Museum of the Great Lakes. Mr. Gillcrist holds history degrees from John Carroll University and is ABD in Social Policy at Case Western Reserve University. He served as Executive Director of the museum from 1999 to 2023 and led the organization’s growth from its original museum in Vermilion to its current location Toledo.
OHC is excited to be proposing three new trustees to its board: Ellen Broadwell, Pablo Mitchell, and Jessica Reese, and honoring two new honorary trustees: Carl Jacobson and Julie Min.
We send our congratulations to these Community Award winners and look forward to honoring them at the meeting!
