We wish everyone a happy and healthy Independence Day. OHC’s museum buildings and office will be closed on the 4th but you can listen for us participating in the National Bell Festival’s initiative to mark the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We will be ringing our Little Red Schoolhouse bell 13 times, for the 13 original colonies, at 2:50 p.m. Eastern time, to sync with bell ringing around the nation. Have a bell? Feel free to join in.
